Activities, Clubs & Trips

HASU’s Enrichment Programme provides every student with the opportunity to take part in a rich variety of activities designed to inspire, challenge, and support personal growth. Rooted in our core values of Integrity, Innovation, and Discovery, the programme is an essential part of life at HASU and broadens our Personal Development Curriculum.
Students choose from a broad range of activities on a twice-yearly rotation, ensuring they can explore new interests or deepen existing passions throughout the year. For Year 7 students, enrichment is compulsory, while for all other year groups it is optional but highly encouraged as a rewarding extension of their learning journey.
You can find the full termly enrichment timetable at the bottom of this page.
Extra-curricular Sport
At the Academy, we run a range of extra-curricular sports clubs to appeal to a range of different sporting interests. Our extra-curricular sports have a range of benefits, not only aiding physical health and mental wellbeing but also team-work skills, discipline, and competitive spirit.

Students are given opportunities to trail out for selected sports teams such as netball and football and represent the Academy in Borough sports and Harris Federation sports competitions.
