Keeping in Touch with Parents/Carers
Communicating with our families really matters
Keeping a regular and open dialogue with our families is incredibly important to us and ensures that jointly home and school can work together to support our students to fulfil their potential. We do this in a number of ways:
- Regular school communication through email
- School newsletters each half term
- Dedicated Parents/Carers Evenings for each year group
- Information Evenings for Years 11-13
- Meet the Tutor Evening for Year 7
- Reports sent home twice per year
We also welcome parents/carers to join us for events throughout the school year as they arise; the ongoing success of our community is reliant on this support and engagement.
If you ever have a concern or want to discuss something regarding your child’s academic progress or wellbeing, please do not hesitate to contact us, through your child’s teacher (academic) or tutor (pastoral) in the first instance. For more serious concerns, please channel these through your child’s Head of Year.
