At HASU6, our aim is simple: to ensure every student leaves us confident, well-prepared, and excited about the next stage of their journey. Whether that path leads to university, an apprenticeship, or straight into the workplace, we provide the academic foundations and personal skills students need to thrive.

Exploring life after Sixth Form can feel both exciting and overwhelming. That’s why our comprehensive careers programme runs throughout Years 12 and 13, giving students structured opportunities to explore their options, develop their strengths, and make informed choices about their future.

Our Careers Programme Includes:

• Personalised university and careers guidance

• UCAS and apprenticeship application support

• Visits to universities, employers, and careers fairs

• Lectures and workshops from industry professionals

• Targeted enrichment programmes to build employability skills

• Specialist pathways for competitive applications, including Medicine and Oxbridge

Federation Support

As part of the wider Harris Federation, HASU6 students also benefit from access to a network of support. This includes expert advice on applications to both university and apprenticeships, as well as practical workshops on CV-building, personal statements, and interview preparation.
