Our Y12 Economics students had an incredible opportunity today to hear from an ambassador from the Bank of England. The session focused on monetary policy, how interest rates and economic decisions shape the UK economy.

On Sunday our students took part in the Remembrance Sunday parade, honouring those who have served and sacrificed for our country.We are especially proud of our students who serve in the Royal Air Force Cadets, representing HASU with dignity and pride.

Yesterday, our Y8 students had an inspiring visit to the National Gallery as part of their Careers programme. They discovered the many roles that bring the gallery to life and even got to see some famous masterpieces up close!

Harris Academy Sutton: Full for September

Harris Academy Sutton is delighted to announce that it has filled its allocation of 195 places for this September. We would like to extend a warm welcome to our first ever cohort of students and their families. The Principal will be writing to all new students within the next few days to inform you of the next steps and the key dates in our extensive transition programme.

This news comes hot on the heels of recent building updates which confirm that both our builds are progressing on schedule.

Academy Principal Mr Fisher said: "I am delighted that we have been able to attract a full cohort for our first year. I cannot wait to meet the students and their families over the next few months and find out what they would like to get from Harris Sutton. The number of applicants is a resounding endorsement of the decision to open such a bold and ambitious new Academy. I am sure that together we can work to provide a dynamic and exciting education for all who are part of our community."
