Our HASU6 mathematicians got outstanding results in the recent Senior Maths Challenge. From 71 participants we had 11 gold certificates,16 silver & 27 bronze. Six students took part in the follow-up rounds, including Sam E who did the 3.5 hour Maths Olympiad! Well done everyone!

Yesterday, our Y8 students had an inspiring visit to the National Gallery as part of their Careers programme. They discovered the many roles that bring the gallery to life and even got to see some famous masterpieces up close!

How to apply to HASU 6

Sixth Form application for 2026.

Join us for our HASU6 Open Evening on Thursday 27th November, 5–7pm.

There will be information talks at 5:30pm and 6:15pm, as well as opportunities to meet our subject specialists, explore our wide range of A Level courses, and hear from current students about life at HASU6.

Come and see what makes our Sixth Form a supportive, ambitious, and exciting place to study.

Students currently in Year 11 at Harris Academy Sutton

You are guaranteed a place if you meet the entry criteria. This does not commit you to a place, but it does enable us to begin to plan our curriculum offer in light of prospective interest. Applications will open on Friday 28th November.

Each year we welcome a number of external students to joint our school community. We will allocate places for external students according to the admissions criteria which can be found at the bottom of this page.  Applications will open on Friday 28th November.

 

Applications will close on Thursday 12th February 2026.

HASU6 Entry Requirements

In order to secure a place at HASU 6 you will need to attain:

  • Grade 5 in English Language AND
  • Grade 5 in Mathematics AND
  • Average point score in best 8 GCSEs of 6

In addition, some subjects will have subject specific GCSE grade requirements - please see the document below.
