Ms Cobb
Vice Principal
Kate Cobb is Acting Vice Principal at HASU with oversight of assessment, exams, progress, data and 6th form. Kate joined HASU in September 2019 as a subject leader having previously been a Deputy Principal at a post-16 college in Kent and is enjoying her return to senior leadership now that her own children are both at school.
Kate originally trained as a dancer and actress at Laine Theatre Arts and later went on to complete a degree at Middlesex University. She spent many years performing across the UK and the world, ending with a two-year stint in London's West End and uses her extensive experience to inspire her students when teaching dance and drama at HASU.
Kate's previous experience leading in post-16 education means that she is well placed to oversee the inaugural year of HASU6 ensuring that the school continues to offer the highest quality provision for their A level students.
When she's not teaching, you will find Kate at the side of a football pitch cheering on her children. Kate also loves the theatre, reading and chocolate and has a new obsession with Wordle!
