It's lovely to see examples of excellent work by students - it makes us really happy to see how hard they work. If your child produces a piece of work that they are particularly proud of, they can email a photo to and we will share examples here.

Virtual School Information

Virtual School LogoDuring the period of learning from home, Harris Academy Sutton will be operating our Virtual School.

All students will receive live teaching from subject specialists five days a week, which they will also be able to access asynchronously (not live) after live lessons have been broadcast.

Microsoft Teams

All virtual lessons will take place using Microsoft Teams. More information on how to access Teams from home is available here.

When students log-on, they will find a team for each subject. All learning materials including links to lesson streams, assignments, and quizzes will be shared in these teams by teachers.

Students can access the Virtual School timetable for their Year Groups below:

More information about what’s on offer can be found in these timetables, and it is important that parents and carers also read this information so that they can best support their children.

Working well from home

The Virtual School timetable runs from 9am until 3:10pm, including breaks and a range of different sessions. Students should be ready to learn from 08:55am.

A regular routine is really important for both learning and wellbeing. Where possible, students should follow the Virtual School timetable live throughout the day. We will monitor attendance and engagement as we would normally, and reach out to students who are not attending and who might be in need of support.

We encourage students to take full advantage of break (11:10-11:30) and lunch (13:10-13:50) to get away from the screen, stretch their legs and talk to family members.

For Virtual School learning, students will need:

  • Access to their computer or other device
  • A quiet, clear work-space
  • Mobile phones to be turned off
  • Access to pens and paper

What to do if you can’t access the Virtual School

If you don’t have access to a device or the internet, you should contact the Academy at and we will make every effort to support you.

If you have forgotten your log-in details, please contact us at and we will provide them. Please bear in mind there may be some delay as we operate on a reduced staff in Reception.
