For our students who are self-isolating from school, we realise that continuing their education is crucial. In order to ensure that students are provided relevant, effective work to support them in learning from home we have set up this Blended Learning page. Blended Learning is the name for resources and materials which support students in continuing their learning online and through technology while at home.
Each week, a Blended Learning overview will be made available which includes all of the work for that week for students in the relevant Year Group. Where possible, these resources will closely resemble the content being taught to and learned by students who are at the Academy as normal. Where it is not possible to replicate what students would have been doing at school (for example in the case of practical subjects) our practical subject teachers have planned home learning resources which will enable students to develop their knowledge and skills while at home, and ensure they return to the Academy able to quickly continue their practical studies with their peers.

From here, select the relevant Year Group page from the menu at the side of this page.
On the Year Group page, please select the blended learning overview for the current week.
We strongly recommend that students follow their normal academy timetable. In other words, if it is Monday morning, begin with an hour of the subject that you would be studying Monday period 1, and continue working through your timetabled subjects. Students may find it helpful to print the document and tick things off, or produce a list.
