Mrs Lawley is the Assistant Principal at Harris Academy Sutton where she leads Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG)Education, IID days and new staff development. She also oversees Early Career Teachers, and champions whole-school literacy.
Her career in education spans a range of leadership roles, including Assistant Headteacher in East London and Head of English at a secondary school in Enfield. During her time in Enfield, she played a key role in helping the school achieve an Outstanding rating from Ofsted.
Nicola holds a degree in English Literature and History from Lancaster University. Before entering the teaching profession, she worked in public relations and marketing, later completing her PGCE to pursue her passion for education.
Beyond her professional commitments, Nicola enjoys spending time with her young family, swimming, and attending the theatre.
