I really enjoy IID weeks because we get to go on school trips and lessons are transformed. These weeks help us to get to know people better, develop new friendships and do fun activities.

Last year I went to PGL during IID week and it was amazing.

My favourite activities were Giant Swing and Canoeing because I got to jump in the lake! I also loved it because I made lifelong memories with my friends and it was a good experience for me to be away from my parents and be independent for a few days.

For another IID week activity we did a British Airways advertising experience which was great in which we had to create a new airline and pitch our ideas to a set of judges. I really enjoyed this because it was creative and I was able to collaborate with my friends in a different way to normal lessons. The pitching at the end was really fun because we were able to speak in front of the whole year group and show off our ideas.

Additionally, we have our Sports Day during IID week which is definitely one of the best days of the year. We get to compete for our House in a range of sports and events. I did Long Jump and Relay events last year and won both, but it is also great to have your friends cheer you on and support you.
