Amelia, Year 10
I love attending HASU, the school is a supportive environment for all students, where we feel comfortable to reach out to all of our teachers for support and guidance. I am also very involved with the school’s enrichment offer, playing a lead role in last year’s school production, of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Having been part of the school production, I met lots of new students and made many new friends!
In Year 9, we were given plenty of support in selecting our GCSE options.
We were given guidance during lessons, and the Options Evening was very useful. We got to see the types of assessment used in each subject area, and the curriculum outlines for Years 10 and 11, which helped me in finalising my decision to pick Music, DT, Spanish and History.
I am really excited for the year ahead
